The Winn Parish Medical Center Physical Therapy team is dedicated to helping people rebuild their lives after illness and injury. Our Physical Therapy team includes knowledgeable, caring professionals who are dedicated to providing quality care and support. They provide customized treatment and plans of care for each client based on the needs and desired outcomes. We offer comprehensive intervention for clients with a variety of conditions including, but are not limited to:
- Debilitation due to a variety of medical/surgical sources.
- Musculoskeletal disorders: osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis
- Postsurgical patients: orthopedic and general
- Sports injuries
- Neurological and neuromuscular conditions: Stroke (CVA), brain tumor, Guillain-Barre syndrome, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy.
- Traumatic or acquired brain injury
- Spinal cord injury
- Multiple trauma
- Amputation: pre- and post-prosthesis
- Lymphedema
