Visiting Policies & Hours

ATTENTION ALL VISITORS

Family support is important to the healing process of the patient, but please do keep in mind the patient’s need for rest, quiet and privacy.  We ask that friends and relatives follow these visitation guidelines:

  • Persons with cough, sore throat, cold symptoms or other potential contagious illness should not visit.
  • Clinically necessary and reasonable visitation restriction or limitation may be put into place in order to provide safe and effective medical care to all patients.

MEDICAL/SURGICAL UNIT

Standard visitation hours are 6:00 am – 10:00 pm.

CRITICAL CARE UNIT

Standard visitation hours are 6:00 am – 10:00 pm.

CHAPEL

The Winn Parish Medical Center Chapel, located on the main hall of the hospital, is open to patients, families and friends as a place for prayer and meditation. Visiting clergy from all denominations are encouraged to minister to patients from their congregations.
